It's the Super Bowl and I am attempting to redeem myself and get some Hoboken street cred by throwing an unreal party. I feel great about it even though I have all but a proven track record. The majority of my TV Premiere parties have been pretty uneventful since nobody ever shows up. But today will be different. Well it better be because I'm about to go pick-up a keg and thats a lot of beer to drink. Hopefully our stadium seating will be put to good use this time.
Super Bowl Prediction:
I am going with the Saints today because I love Bourbon St. and I cried watching a feel good story about Drew Brees this morning on NFL Countdown. They get me every time. (Lesser Known Fun Fact) I also teared up when Emmitt Smith broke the NFL rushing record a few years back.
Orlando Magic Update:
Big matchup against the Boston Celtics today at 2:30 EST on ABC. Most people are focused on the Super Bowl, but this is the real game today. My guess is that the Polish Hammer (aka Marcin Gortat) is the X-Factor and the Magic pull out a big win in Boston. Can't wait for Vince Carter to be benched for J.J. Redick in crunch time.
