Give the People What They Want!!

All it took was a text message from a buddy of mine to get me out of my funk and bring Romo's Spot back to life...

Where Are We Now?

Well ... A few things have changed since celebrating my first zogsports dodgeball championship in my illustrious career.  It is now kickball season and the 178 mile Ragnar Relay Race is only 1 month away.  I have also switched gyms from NYSC to Club KO Kickboxing in Hoboken.  The workouts are unreal and it has really taken The Program to another level.  In the past 10 days, I have developed an obsession with Bowling and I'm embarrassed to announce that I was officially cut from my Company Bowl-a-Thon for a charity event.  Now my focus moves from the lanes to the greens.  I have a 4-day vacation in Myrtle Beach scheduled for the week before the big race so hopefully I can stay on The Program throughout the trip.  I will keep everyone updated on my status going forward but now for the real topic of discussion.  See you at the driving range...

LOST Update:

We are now more than halfway through the Final Season of LOST and I know that every Lost fan is on the edge of their seats.  We have given 6 years of our life to this show and I often find myself living vicariously through several of the characters.  One thing I can confirm through all the talks of good vs. evil and faith vs. science is that the Desmond/Penny connection is the best love story of our time.  I know that I am often quoted as saying that Mark Wahlberg is one of the best actors of our generation, but I think I'm dead on with my analysis of Desmond and Penny.

It is clear that they are in 2007 on the island and 2004 in the parallel universe back in Los Angeles.  When they blew up the hatch the rules of time travel applied which is why they remained on the island, but their entire lives in the real world had changed.  In the parallel universe, each of the characters either faced a crossroads in their life and/or they were given a choice.  Jacob believes that some people are inherently good and I'm pretty sure that Free Will and Faith will overcome Science in the end.  I'm not sure what I just said or if it will even apply to the whole Good vs. Evil thing we have going on between Jacob and Esau, but I feel great about it.

My Theory - Desmond is the key to negating the scientific aspects of the island and Sawyer will be the saving grace...

Orlando Magic:

They look unstoppable and the Playoffs are 1 game away.  At this point, I don't know why everyone still thinks the Cavs will win the East.  I still love the matchups and I will find a way to make it down to Orlando for a game.

Who's is coming with me?

Protein Update:

2-3 Protein Shakes per day.

Running at the Front of the Pack,

Romo
